The long-running series of NCIS campaigns is finally back on the screen after extensive delays with coronaviruses. CBS aired the third episode of Episode 18 tonight after a two-week hiatus. After the episode concluded, viewers flocked online to discuss the episode. Some longtime NCIS fans recalled a key moment from one of Bishop’s earliest appearances.
On Reddit, one fan commented, “Wait, didn’t Bishop say beforehand that she can’t get physically drunk? Or did I remember wrongly? “
Twitter users also pointed out the continuity bug and were disappointed that the new episode appeared to override one of Bishop’s key features.
A helpful NCIS aficionado pointed out that the new agent, now in her seventh year as part of the main cast, made the claim on the episode Crescent City.
During her early appearance, she said, “I don’t get drunk. It’s physically impossible for me. I tried college. ”
While it’s entirely possible that Bishop just didn’t try enough, it’s unlikely that something that didn’t tip her off as a student is now having any other effect.

On the other hand, the NCIS newcomer may have falsified the truth to appear more resilient to her new colleagues.
With the series approaching nearly two decades on screen, it’s understandable that the writers occasionally skip over some throwaway details from previous seasons.
