No. 2 Notre Dame achieved one of the biggest victories in its illustrious history, dropping no. Ranked 1 Clemson in double overtime last Saturday. Irish coach Brian Kelly spent all of the season debating the « level of competition » needed to not only win such a game, but also maintain that season with more work remaining in pursuit of the ACC Championship and the marina at College Football Playoffs. This level of competition will be tested in a big way on Saturday on the road against Boston College.

It would be dangerous enough for the Irish to face Boston College after just two weeks of holding a two-digit lead in the first half at Clemson, but the historical ties make this confrontation more difficult than the trap game.. Bock, as it was against Clemson, will have the ball in his hands in order to lead a game-changing mission. If he rises to the occasion as he did against the Tigers, we must be well on our way to seeing a rematch of that epic showdown in South Bend in December.. 19 in Charlotte for the ACC Championship.

Boston College: One year ago, Boston College midfielder Phil Gorkovich was in a midfield with Buck. With no chance to overtake the beginners, Jurkovec moved to Boston College and led (to that point) a more prolific pass attack in 2020..
