As previously reported, comedian Bill Burr is slated to host Saturday Night Live this weekend; It is not yet clear if a new musical guest will replace Wallen The following week, on October 17, Issa Rae of Insecure will oversee the animation duties, while Justin Bieber will serve as the musical guest
SNL returns on October 3 with host Chris Rock and a performance by Megan Thee Stallion The Season 46 opener – which also featured Jim Carrey’s debut as Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden – scored SNL’s second largest audience in 12 years (TVLine readers gave Carrey’s impression an average « B » rating, while the episode itself got a « C-« )
