Several Fredericton schools are on lockdown or on hold and secured as police respond to a person barricaded in a house in College Hill / Montgomery Street
Police ask people to avoid the area and say a number of streets have been blocked off No further details of the incident have been released
St Thomas University and University of New Brunswick urge students to avoid campus until further notice Students who are already on campus are urged to shelter in place
NBCC Fredericton has been put on hold and secured People are asked to avoid campus and not to open exterior doors
The Montgomery Street School is closed at this time, while the Sainte-Anne School, the Battisers School, the Montgomery Street School and the Priestman Street School are on hold and secured
Police say students in affected schools are all safe and will stay in touch with school and district officials
