In honor of Pitt, who turned 57 on Friday, the singer went on Twitter to poke fun at her 1997 hit « That Don’ t Impress Me Much, » the actor shouts.
Of course, this isn’t the first time Twain Pitt trolls over the song this year. Back in January, the singer retweeted a fan mail in which the classic title was compared with three things from Pitt’s film Ad Astra.
« Didn’t anyone notice that BRAD PITT was just playing a ROCKET SCIENTIST who had a CAR ?! » read the message. « THERE ARE THE THREE THINGS THAT DON’T PUSH SHANIA MUCH !!! »
When ET spoke to Twain last December, she shared why she had used Pitt’s name in her song all those years ago. She revealed at the time that it came after a scandal involving nude photos of Pitt and ex-fiancé Gwyneth Paltrow, which were reportedly about to be posted on Playgirl.
« I thought it was going to be a terrible invasion of her and I just took the other angle, » Twain recalled. « He’s so beautiful, clothed or naked, so I just went over the top . . . be playful. «
She added, « I’m not very impressed that I still haven’t met Brad Pitt, come on! »
