For this special day, MCR fans will finally have the chance to get their hands on an exclusive vinyl from a classic album
Due to the coronavirus, Record Store Day was held in August, September and October of this year Although the music industry faces a crisis amid the pandemic, the event of three days helped boost many local independent record stores across the country
Now Record Store Day hopes to continue its efforts in November with a special Black Friday release day. Next month, various record stores across the country are participating in the event and selling over a hundred rare releases
Among the RSD Black Friday releases is a limited edition My Chemical Romance vinyl from Life On The Murder Scene The live album was released in 2006 and features hits such as « Helena », « The Ghost Of You » and « I’m Not Okay (I Promise) »
Life On The Murder Scene is pressed onto a clear 140g 12 inch vinyl with red splatter for RSD Black Friday This is the first time the live album has been available on vinyl however if you want to get your hands on on a copy, you will have to act quickly Only 11,500 vinyls are pressed in the world
According to Rough Trade, the Life On The Murder Scene vinyl costs around £ 26.99 ($ 35) and will be available on Nov 27
