This message was delivered in the late afternoon, Monday, November. 23 after Morrison and P. . E.. . I. Prime Minister Dennis King announced that P. . E.. . I. withdrew from the Atlantic travel bubble with effect from 12:01 p.m.. m. Tuesday, Nov.. . 24.
At the same meeting, Morrison informed the media that P. . E.. . I. had a new COVID-19 case. A woman in her forties had traveled from outside the Atlantic and was self-isolating. This case brings the province’s active cases to two as of November. 23.
Morrison urges islanders who have traveled within Atlantic Canada in the past seven days to take additional precautions two weeks after the time of possible exposure.
For 14 days after their arrival in P. . E.. . I. Anyone who has returned from Nova Scotia or New Brunswick in the past week should always wear a mask to work, school, or any public place. Limit close contact with people outside of your household. Maintain as much physical distance as possible. Wash hands regularly; closely monitor for symptoms of COVID-19; and when symptoms appear they are tested and self-isolating until they get their test results.
