BURLINGTON, Vt (AP) – A Vermont hospital has transferred more than a dozen patients from a rehabilitation center to its main campus after staff members reported dizziness and nausea
Patients were receiving inpatient rehabilitation care at the Fanny Allen campus of UVM Medical Center, a hospital spokesperson said All staff have been treated and have recovered, and no patients have been affected, the spokesperson said
A similar issue led to the closure of the rehabilitation center in the spring and sparked an investigation Stephen Leffler, president and chief operating officer of UVM Medical Center, said it is « difficult to recognize that with the extensive investigation, upgrades and improvements, we are unable to determine exactly what happens »
