World news – Caris LeVert makes Pacer’s debut after fear of cancer

Indiana Pacers forward Caris LeVert plans to play for the team on his first appearance for the franchise on Saturday night, ESPN reported.

LeVert was acquired by Brooklyn as part of the multi-team deal who sent James Harden to the Nets and Victor Oladipo of Indiana to the Houston Rockets.

During the physical exercise required prior to allowing team and league trade to go ahead, a small mass was discovered on LeVert’s left kidney. He had surgery in January.

« I hadn’t missed any games this season. I felt 100 percent healthy, » LeVert said at the time. « In a way, this trade has definitely shown and revealed what was going on in my body is going on, so I’m definitely looking at it from that side and I’m definitely humbled to know that this deal could potentially have saved me in the long run. ”

The 26-year-old LeVert scored in with the Nets this season 12 games (four starts) averaged 18.5 points, 6.0 assists and 4.3 rebounds. The fifth year professional averaged 13.1 points, 3.7 assists and in 225 career games (96 starts) with Brooklyn 3.7 rebounds.
