The Jazz have shot their way to the top of the NBA charts 15-1 in the last 16 games when they are welcomed to the limping Boston Celtics on Tuesday night. < Boston will be understaffed again, but the Brad Stevens crew have shown real strength with five games on this trip. We'll see what they can conjure up against Utah as a 4-point underdog.
At 19-5, Utah fends off both the Lakers and the Clippers for the top spot in the west, while the 12:10 Celtics as 4- Seed remain stable in the east.
Utah is known for its defense capability, anchored by annual DPOY nominee Rudy Gobert, and they haven’t missed a beat in this category this season. The Jazz occupies third place in the defensive standings, leads the league in defensive rebound and keeps the teams at 105.7 per night on the third lowest point per game.

Donovan Mitchell scores 23.5 points per game, one of six Utah players to double-digit points this season. Jordan Clarkson has become a super scorer and is in the running for the sixth NBA man of the year with 17.5 points per game, while Gobert does better than 13 points and 13 points a night.

The good news is Brown could be in the lineup on Tuesday, but for the Celtics to make real noise, Kemba Walker will have to go back to All-Star caliber. Walker was knocked down by a knee that paused him earlier in the year. He only played nine games averaging 15.9 points, but shot a terrible 35.7% off the field and 30.9% behind the bow.
One way for the Celtics to acquire additional possessions is to go into this one first class defensive rebounding team to penetrate. Boston is eighth in offensive rebounds of a game, so Utah’s front will definitely get a test from Tristan Thompson and Co. While Boston is going to be a game, I think they fade the track and the jazz keeps making that sound.
