The Bureau of Meteorology issued a third flood warning for the Clarence Valley area this morning.
According to the latest announcement, released Tuesday morning at 5:30 a.m., authorities have warned that there may be moderate flooding along the Clarence River in Grafton and Ulmarra. Minor flooding occurs in Grafton and Ulmarra, which is expected in Maclean.
The Clarence River at Grafton is expected to exceed moderate flood levels (3.60 m) this morning. The river level can reach around 4.50 meters with minor flooding this afternoon. Further climbs are possible.
The Clarence River in Ulmarra is expected to exceed the moderate flood level (3.40 m) on Tuesday afternoon. The river level can reach about 3.90 meters by Tuesday evening. Further climbs are possible.
The Clarence River in Maclean is expected to exceed the low flood level (1.60 m) on Tuesday afternoon. The river level can reach around 2.00 meters on Wednesday morning.
