The Los Angeles Clippers will continue their six-game road trip at Madison Square Garden on Sunday, Jan. 31 as they battle the New York Knicks. </ The clips earned a compelling 26-point win over the Orland Magic when Kawhi Leonard and Paul George returned from COVID-19 logs. New York took a solid team win against Cleveland on Friday, with Immanuel Quickley and RJ Barrett running for Tom Thibodeau's squad.

LA has dominated the Knicks recently, winning four games in a row and at their 2019 / 20 emerged victorious.

Los Angeles is proving to be one of the best teams in the Western Conference this season, with an NBA Best 15 win alongside Utah Jazz. They also won seven straight wins before losing to the Hawks on Tuesday.

The LA superstar duo only missed two games where the clips went 1-1. Ty Lue’s team managed to beat a struggling Miami Heat squad in South Beach on Thursday, thanks to Nicolas Batum’s team high of 18 points.

Without Kawhi and PG, we could see what the role-players in LA are doing in the Location are. Reggie Jackson put together some solid performances, averaging just over 15 points in his three starts. Second year striker Terance Mann also showed respectable goal production in a few games on the grid.

The Clippers really need Lou Williams to break out of his cold spell. The former Sixth Man of the Year averages just 9.4 points per game this season, well below his career average of 14.4. It has proven to be a key element of LA’s second unit for several years and needs improvement so this team can make a deep run in the west, especially if the Lakers want to repeat themselves.

Leonard and George returned with authority on Friday returned in a one-sided victory over Orlando. In the first three quarters they achieved a total of 48 points, with PG having the edge with 26 points and nine rebounds. Both players looked rested after five days off and on Sunday they will try to develop their energies in a young but exciting Knicks team.

MSG just has a different feeling this season. Usually the Knicks are a massive disappointment, although they always have lottery picks in the draft. In New York, however, there is a positive feeling in 2020/21.

Julius Randle is a legitimate argument for an all-star appearance and currently leads the team on points, rebounds and assists. RJ Barrett shows drastic improvements in his second season while forming an efficient partnership with Randle.

Another player who shows brilliant lightning is rookie Immanuel Quickley. The Knicks took it over from OKC just a few days after the draft for 2020 and it shows early on the potential to be their point guard of the future. The former Kentucky star hasn’t started a game yet, but was electrified by the bench in moments.

Quickley broke out against the Blazers last Sunday with a career high of 31 points and lost another 25 points on Friday night great victory over the Cavs. He lives up to his name, showing quick dribbling speed and the ability to blow off shots from downtown.

Even though New York is only 9-11, with Randle, Barrett and Quickley on top they seem to be heading in the right direction walk. There’s also Obi Toppin, who could turn out to be an important piece later.

The Knicks were impressive defensively, allowing for the lowest score in the NBA this season. Thibodeau’s squad, on the other hand, only scores 101.6 points per competition, which is the worst total in the association.

New York will cut their work for them on Sunday, there’s no doubt about that. But they put together some really good performances against top teams. The Knicks have beaten the Celtics, Jazz and Bucks earlier this year and are 5-2 ATS in their last seven appearances. Go brave and bet on NY here.
