It wouldn’t be a real Monday if Colin Cowherd didn’t try to make waves with a controversial stance on NFL quarterbacks.
On Monday’s The Herd, Colin Cowherd currently has his six best quarterbacks in the NFL rated. His top 4 weren’t particularly controversial, with Patrick Mahomes, Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson taking places.
Josh Allen, getting a place ahead of Deshaun Watson, may be controversial to some, but the argument can be made . However, with his « 2nd tier of quarterbacks » he really got under the skin of NFL fans.
In the second row, Cowherd has Lamar Jackson, Justin Herbert, Derek Carr, Matt Ryan, Kyler Murray and – most controversially – Jimmy Garoppolo. NFL fans immediately took to the comment section with objections to Garoppolo.
In particular, fans were upset that Garoppolo made the list over Dak Prescott. He crossed Drew Brees off his list a long time ago.
