Firefighters couldn’t save a popular café that burned down overnight in Esk.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Service spokeswoman said firefighters received a call around 1:35 p.m. Sunday that the Red Deer Cafe in Esk had caught fire.
The popular café – a structure made of wood and weather boards – was quickly destroyed by the fire and was « well involved » when the firefighters arrived.
A number of firefighters fought to get the fire under control and the fire was prevented from spreading to neighboring buildings.
Fire investigators will be combing the remains of the building this morning to find the cause of the To determine Brandes.
The news of the fire was received with shock and sadness by locals and tourists, who enjoyed stopping at the store on their way through town.
“An amazing family business in our city tonight. The Red Deer Cafe was destroyed by fire. The insurance does not cover half of your personal and business losses. So if you want to help financially, our church will raise funds for you as not for profit. «
» All the money goes straight to the girls to get them back on their feet and open the doors. «
