UFC superstar Conor McGregor predicted an end to Dustin Poirier in the upcoming third fight on July 10th, but Poirier used the Irishman on the matter to brutally beat McGregor for not making his promised donation to Poiriers Charity.

Poirier wrote, « That’s a fun prediction! @TheNotoriousMMA You also predicted a donation to my foundation and you and your team stopped responding after the fight in January. See you soon. July 10th Paid in full! «

Poirier later explained why his team thanked McGregor for the donation, which never actually came, and how McGregor’s team « ghosted » him right afterwards.

He wrote: « We thanked him because his T eam got into fight week to start the process but made us spooky for the last two months after the fight. Since then, my foundation has contacted us three times without a response. We got past it! We’ll announce our next destination soon! It’s a big deal. “

Prior to UFC 257 in January, McGregor pledged to make a $ 500,000 donation to Poirier’s charity, The Good Fight Foundation. The donation was intended to help disadvantaged youth in Poirier’s home state of Louisiana.

According to « The Diamond », McGregor never made this donation. Worse, Poirier says McGregor’s team has stopped responding to his messages about the promised payment.

Maybe the worst? McGregor’s first answer to the problem was to retweet a fan’s comedic post where McGregor laughed hysterically. McGregor has since deleted the retweet, but not before people took notice on social media.

This doesn’t look too good for McGregor or his team, and Poirier must have a strong feeling that McGregor didn’t make the donation that he is willing to blow up the Irishman on the matter.

McGregor later confirmed that he had not made the donation, claiming it was because he had not received enough information about it what the Good Fight Foundation had planned for the money.

McGregor wrote, “A donation, not a debt. We have been waiting for the plans for the money that never came. I do with all of my donations. Know where you are going point by point. Otherwise it’s going for a walk. As with many of these foundations, unfortunately. You put the McG on your belt to show I was right. “

A donation, not a fault. We have been waiting for the plans for the money that never came. I do with all of my donations. Know where you are going point by point. Otherwise it’s going for a walk. As with many of these foundations, unfortunately. You brought the McG over your belt to show that I was right.

Poirier replied, “100% never a fault. You offered, we accepted, and as I said, your team never replied to our emails regarding the process in which the funds are to be used! On July 10th you will taste defeat again. “

Poirier also received feedback from Audie Attar, McGregor’s manager, who came to McGregor’s defense the following day by suggesting that team McGregor’s apparent support for the UFC, which paid the American more for the rematch, was a valid reason McGregor never made the donation.

Attar wrote, « Dustin! Why are you frontin Forgot the face-to-face meeting we just had with our families in Utah? How did we help you when you were trying to get more money from the UFC? Conor is as generous as it gets. Don’t dismiss his business acumen. He always makes it. This is a man of little movement. «

Poirier replied, » His team did not respond to our emails on anything related to my foundation after initially reaching out to us. All good, dinner and speeches were great but not going up Twitter and be a tough guy lol. «

The two stars are tied 1: 1, and UFC 264 serves as a rubber match.

McGregor previously announced that he expects to finish Poirier in the fourth round in the third fight. He wrote: “The prediction is here! I’ll win the trilogy fight over A Front Kick to the Nose. Round number 4. His nose needs to be straightened and I’m doing rhinoplasty. «

According to the superstar’s latest training material on his Instagram account, McGregor is working to turn his pre-fight prediction into reality.

What is missing, of course, is the footage of McGregor opening his checkbook to make his donation to the Good Fight Foundation.

So Poirier used the prediction of the « notorious » stars to remind McGregor that he still failed to deliver on his promised « prediction » before UFC 257 to make a donation of $ 500,000.

In the third fight between Poirier and McGregor will have a lot at stake.

McGregor defeated Poirier in the 2014 featherweight round of 16, while Poirier defeated McGregor in the rematch at UFC 257 in January 2021 in the round of 16.

The winner of the fight will receive the alleged first jump at new g crowned UFC lightweight champion to be determined at UFC 262 when Charles Oliveira and Michael Chandler meet in Houston on May 14th.

But now there also seems to be bad blood between the stars because of this promised donation, which McGregor never gave to Poirier’s Foundation.
