Crash Bandicoot 4 launches on PC this month and it’s about ti – wait, no, this is actually earlier than I expected. That’s a nice surprise. Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s Time is the newest platform where Crash and Coco collect some interdimentional magical masks to advance the multiverse in front of Neo Cortex and Dr. Rescue N. Tropy.
Activision previously announced that Crash 4 would hit PC this year. Many people, including me, expected the PC version to be out around October, a year after the console launched. Well, it looks like time is on our side. Crash 4 hits Battle.net before the end of March.
The PC version of Crash 4 supports 4K resolutions and has an unlimited frame rate. All the better to help perfect your platform. According to Activision, you can expect 60 fps with the recommended specs, including 16 GB of RAM and an Nvidia GTX 970 or AMD R9 390.
When it first hit the market last year, our colleagues at Eurogamer called it an « entertaining, stupid, sneaky, and occasionally ingenious sequel » in their Crash 4 review. They say there is a fiddly platform out there at times, but otherwise it has all sorts of gimicks, systems, and recalls to the original crash games.
You can find Crash Bandicoot 4 on Battle.net where it will be released on March 26th for £ 35 / $ 40. If you happen to have a console box, Crash 4 launched on the Nintendo Switch, PS5, and Xbox Series X / S as well today.
