ATLANTA, GEORGIA: As America was hit by the horrors of the March 22nd Boulder Supermarket massacre and the terrible gunfight in Atlanta a week earlier, the Cumberland Mall in Cobb County, Atlanta, witnessed yet another alarming crime . It was reported that two people were shot and injured in the Buffalo Wild Wings outlet mall.
Cobb County police confirmed that one of the two victims was a child, although their age was not disclosed. Shots have been fired at Buffalo Wild Wings which are reported to have injured two people, one of whom is believed to be a child. After the incident, the mall was evacuated and rescue workers arrived at the scene to take care of the injured. One victim was shot in the leg and the other in the foot. The mall has been temporarily closed and monitored by Cobb County police.

Cobb County Police Department announced that the shooting appears to be « the result » of a confrontation between two parties in separate vehicles who fled before the police arrived. According to the latest reports from 11Alive, Cobb County Police spokesman Wayne Delk has announced that both parties have left the mall. They also said there was confusion about the exact location of the mall where the shooting took place.
Meanwhile, there appears to have been another shoot at Piedmont Park in Midtown, Atlanta. Eyewitnesses report that the victim was allegedly shot with a rifle by a person who escaped from the scene while the victim was still breathing and conscious, reports CBS46.
