CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Jazz musician Cecil Recker made sure he woke up bright and bright early Sunday to have his Covid-19 vaccine shot down at Word Church in Warrensville Heights.
The Church offers vaccinations by appointment each month through May and possibly even after May.
The goal is to connect with the black and brown communities to ensure they have access to the vaccine.
« It just feels good to be a part of it – to know that we are doing our part to understand that our country has a record of over 500,000 deaths from COVID, » she said.
When As you would like to be vaccinated, Lampkins wants you to know that the Word Church plans to assist every step of the way.
