Everton isn’t going to see much of the ball so they become runners, Energy and … need more energy.

So why not put Ben Godfrey in front of the last four, three in midfield with Allan and Tom Davies?

Yerry Mina is fit again and can fit in behind Michael Keane.

At Everton, Gylfi Sigurdsson should play in the middle and a little deeper in the top three, with Richarlison on the left and Dominic Calvert-Lewin on the right.

It may not be the most exciting way to get things done, but Everton has to do everything possible to get a win here.

As Phil rightly says, energy will be a big factor against a city side that not only has tons of talent, but also tons of running and strength – regardless of whether They may or may not make changes to their line-up.

So the blues must try to fight this, especially with a front five that is not afraid to go into the trouble when they’re not on the ball.

To do justice to this high level of press, Everton needs to have plenty of cover in defense to stop the risk of counterattacking.

Seamus Coleman and Lucas Digne provide real distance but are strong enough to defend themselves while Yerry Mina moves straight to the side should return to work with both Ben Godfrey and Michael Keane.

Richarlison, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Gylfi Sigurdsson have to keep pushing from the front – while Allan and Tom Davies can patrol midfield to both the back four protect as well as move forward whenever possible.

And for me that means repeating the system that did well against City a month ago.

So Holgate, Mina, Keane and Godfrey would make up the back four … with Lucas Digne up front on the left and Seamus Coleman on the right.

If this looks like a six man defense, sometimes it has to be to protect an inexperienced goalkeeper.
