When it was leaked to the press that Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik were expecting their first child together, the couple initially appeared to be keeping their experience incredibly low key – that is, until Hadid drops a glamorous baby bump photoshoot on Instagram, which included a studio, a full crew – including a makeup artist, hairstylist and photographer, and several outfit changes

Now Victoria’s Secret Angel Elsa Hosk has followed in Hadid’s footsteps, announcing her first pregnancy with longtime boyfriend Tom Daly with a similar baby bump photoshoot shared on her Instagram overnight

Surprising her 62 million subscribers, the Swedish model shared a range of black and white maternity photos captured by photographer Sante D’Orazio, writing: « I’ve been keeping this angel in my womb a secret for a while … A baby and start the next chapter of life with the man of my dreams !!!! Much like Hadid did, Hosk shared behind-the-scenes videos from the set, showing off her studio setup.She also shared an image from to Instagram Stories with the caption: « What if you don’t know, now you know « 

Of course, Hadid and Hosk certainly weren’t the first celebrities to take it upon themselves to announce their pregnancy on Instagram Who can forget Beyonce’s internet break-up moment in February 2017 when she casually dropped that she was expecting twins while wearing lingerie, a veil and sitting in front of an outrageous flower arrangement?
