According to an MSU men’s basketball spokesman, Foster Loyer recently underwent long-awaited shoulder surgery. With a desperate need to heal, it means Loyer’s season ends early.
The last game the Junior Guard was featured in was against Purdue on February 16, where he added just two minutes and zero points to the final arc .
It was originally announced that he wouldn’t sit out against Indiana until February 20 and Illinois on February 23, but that was extended as his condition worsened.
Since then, Loyer has used his skills as a Team captain to train and exaggerate the team from the bench.
From March 2nd, he finished seventh on the team after contributing 79 points in 19 games. He shot 29.4% off the field, 32.7% off the bow and 88% off the line for this campaign and is third on the assists team, scoring 44 points against Joshua Langford
