A spokesperson for the ambulance service said: « I can confirm that we have responded to a serious collision on the M26 at exit 2A reported shortly after 1pm today

There are now up to 15 miles of queues to return to junction 6 of the M25 and your journey will likely be up to 2 hours longer than usual
Motorists traveling counterclockwise on the M25 and looking to access the M20 can continue to J3 (Swanley Interchange) and use the roundabout to join the M20
