. .

Children in Need invited star-studded actors to their 40th anniversary celebrations, from Dolly Parton and Cher to Andy Murray and Peter Crouch.

This year’s event was held with safety restrictions due to the ongoing pandemic, with a number of shows taking place roughly.

Looks like we’ve followed for a long time to watch Lady Gaga’s One World Together at Home event. Although it was undoubtedly a poignant and well-meaning event, the obvious downside to these home shows is the fact that artists have to get creative with their shows.. . Some went to great lengths to entertain the viewers, while others were content with playing an acoustic guitar in front of a white wall. Thankfully, Mendes managed to pull his band together (along with some cool lighting) and make us feel * almost * like you are in place with him, as he performed a song from his next album.

A musical in which Henry VIII’s wives are band girls? We scored right. Yes, the cast of six pauses to perform an energetic mix of « Ex Wives » and « Six » in a wonderful tribute to the strength of British theater.

When it’s direct, it’s direct – anything can happen. Unfortunately in this case, that meant that an awesome clip with a star fundraising for kids in need went a little skewed, but in the most adorable way. Brian, who raised thousands of pounds for charity, had some technical issues (hosts Mel Gederwick and Stephen Mangan couldn’t hear it), despite some help from home.. Thankfully, he got his prize, and it looks like it’s been chopped into bits.

While Little Mix appeared on the Friday Night Show alongside Dick and Dom, they were without Jesse Nelson, who is currently ill. It’s the third TV appearance she’s been missing with the band last week, prompting fans to share their concerns about it on Twitter.. We send our love.

With a star-studded lineup including Cher, Kylie Minogue, Robbie Williams and Lenny Kravitz, this year’s single Children in Need is pretty special. The video first appeared during a Friday show, as Twitter commenters compared Cher’s feathered outfits to both Moira Rose of Sheet Creek and Raven of CBC.. .

Among the highlights of the « Child in Need » event are the mathematical legends, as it turns out, have a good sense of humor.. Obviously we knew that about Murray and Crouch, but it was fun to see them together while facing off on the tennis court.. Especially with a small referee he was overly uninterested in their childish behaviors. Despite some horrendous crouch cheats, it was Murray who won out in the end.

As the stage world has come to a halt, it’s good to know that good things are on the horizon. Carrie Hope Fletcher introduced viewers to the performance of « Bad Cinderella » from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s new musical « Cinderella », which opens next year.. Lloyd Webber also said that reopening live venues again in time for the Bantu season is his « crusade. ».

Yes, the legendary Dolly Parton appeared at this year’s « Children in Need » event to reveal how long she had inspired a charity mascot.. Did you know that « Jolene » is the middle name for Bodsey? We do not.

The main show kicks off on BBC One at 7 pm, and will be hosted by Mel Jedroick, Alex Scott, Chris Ramsay and Stephen Mangan live in London.

Giedroyc told BBC News earlier today: “It’s been stripped down a bit, but the main thing [is] the atmosphere is going to be exactly the same.. There will be cool sketches, and there will be a lot of famous faces appearing. Nothing has really changed.

What do you expect tonight? Appearances from artists including McFly, Beverley Knight and Shawn Mendes, as well as West End music Six.

Find the comics from King Gary and The Goes Wrong Show. Former One Show host Matt Baker returns for a grueling wagon challenge.

Tonight’s launch show will also witness the debut of the music video for charity song « Children in Need », performed by a group of stars.. .

Cher, Kylie Minogue, Lenny Kravitz and Robbie Williams all gathered to sing « Stop Crying Your Heart Out » on Oasis.

They all appear on the track, which debuted on BBC Radio 2 this morning (November 13).

Celebrated fitness star Joe Wicks completed a 24-hour physical education challenge for needy kids this morning, raising over £ 1. 5 million pounds.

The 34-year-old started the physical challenge at the age of 9. 25 AM Thursday, live broadcast of the event on BBC iPlayer and YouTube, successfully completed Friday morning after 24 hours without sleep.

His marathon fitness day included indoor rowing, cycling, and boxing, and of course his famous HIIT (high-intensity) workout.

We start things off with Boyband McFly, who recorded a special version of their single « Happiness » with the help of BBC Radio 2 listeners.

Lots of cute home videos at it, which we’d probably expect to see a lot of on this socially distant show!

Here we go! We may have to stay two meters away, but tonight we are gathered tonight, « Children in Need, » said host Stephen Mangan.. Ou.

soon . . . Some special episodes of BBC classic shows, Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber are here with a song from his new opera, Cinderella, Strictly Come Dancing, The Goes Wrong Show, and… Dolly Parton!

First, we have Kidzbop, which Google tells me has produced kid-friendly covers of pop songs. Well there you go.

They sing songs from every decade of the 40-year-old history of « Needy Children, » singing Whitney Houston, The Spice Girls, The Black Eyed Peas and Tones and I feel very old.
