The youngster, who turned 17 this week, was touted as « possibly the best 16-year-old in England » by general manager Christian Purslow earlier this year
Chukwuemeka is a regular at Villa’s Under-23s having taken the plunge into under-18 football last season
The thrilling England youth international was linked with Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool before pledging his future at Villa
Chukwuemeka announced that he concluded a contract in July, writing on his Instagram account: « I am happy to have finally committed my future to Aston Villa, I cannot wait for the new season »
But the deal had so far not been confirmed by Villa, who sees Chukwuemeka as having the potential to break into Dean Smith’s first team
