She has been described as the ‘dancing queen’ of the Strictly ballroom by Judge Motsi Mabuse – and Caroline Quentin is firmly attached to the Glitterball Trophy

She said: « I felt completely upset that I couldn’t continue with the ballet – it broke my heart and I’m still sad about it

« It was my passion, something I would have done even if I hadn’t been paid for it. I can see now that it was kind of crazy, and in a way I was probably saved

« I had a great career for someone who had no intention of becoming an actor, but it was a detour – a big detour, but I still can’t bring myself to see Black Swan « 

After performing last Saturday, she was overcome with emotion and burst into tears admitting that she had regained her passion for dancing

Many viewers advised Caroline to go all the way to the final and lift the Glitterball trophy
