The dust has barely settled on Bayern Munich’s triumph in last season’s final – and their astonishing 8-2 humiliation of Lionel Messi and Barcelona in the quarter-finals – but the sides are back in 2020/21 with new hopes to lift iconic silverware
Messi is back, and so is Cristiano Ronaldo, as four English teams represent the Premier League, determined to bring the trophy back to Britain’s shores
Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United have all qualified for this season’s tournament with each showing a high level of ambition, but can they navigate the group stages in the first few weeks

Every Champions League match will be broadcast live on BT Sport across its full range of channels

The final will take place on Saturday 29 May with a kick-off time scheduled at 8 p.m.
It will be held at Ataturk Olimpiyat Stadi in Istanbul, Turkey – home of the Super Lig Fatih Karagumruk team
Last season’s final should have been played in Istanbul but was postponed due to the initial spread of the coronavirus
