World News – GB – CouRage reveals why he stopped playing Fortnite – Dexerto

Popular streamer and commentator CouRage has finally revealed why he is stepping away from Fortnite for the foreseeable future

Jack’ CouRage ‘Dunlop was once a massive figure in the Fortnite competitive world, but the star stopped playing the battle royale title altogether, and eventually revealed his reasons in a YouTube video d ‘October

Although CouRage made his debut as a MLG spell caster, he became synonymous with Fortnite in 2018-19, continuing to comment on several major events for the battle royale title – including the World Cup. from Fortnite, whose game he played -Play with another featured DrLupo streamer

However, he has since stopped streaming the game entirely and instead switched to other popular choices such as Among Us and Warzone, leaving his Fortnite-centric viewers confused as to why he suddenly broke Fortnite.

While CouRage has been talking about his hatred of skill-based matchmaking for some time, he finally explained his reasons for stepping down in a YouTube video on October 13, in the wake of the Chipotle Challenger series.

“Fortnite was a game that changed my life forever, and a game that kind of took me by storm,” he began “I fell in love with it when I played the first day… and now, three years later… this is something I will cherish forever «

CouRage went on to explain that when he first started streaming the game, he « probably loved it more than any other game I’ve ever loved before. » »

« But, like a lot of people, I believe the transition from Chapter 1 to Chapter 2… towards the end of Chapter 1, I was already falling in love with the game, » he admitted. « It has become more stressful than anything »

Summoning a hatred for the game’s short-lived MECH bots after the Fortnite World Cup last year, he « wanted to love the game, but couldn’t, » also claiming that he felt that his environment had changed from rather relaxed fiercely competitive during this period

Of course, skill-based matchmaking (SBMM) played a role in this sentiment, which he said was « one of the things that completely destroyed my love for the game. »

“I think that kept you from having as much fun as before,” he added “Now in these games it’s super sweaty, every fight lasts a minute… it got more stressful that everything «

Although CouRage has listed many flaws with the title as it stands now, he made sure to express his love for Epic and hopes to work with the company for years to come, but will move its content to other titles within a foreseeable timeframe future

Epic has already revealed plans to have another Fortnite World Cup in 2021, and given the popularity of the former OpTic Gaming star when it comes to hosting such events, it may not be long before her name is linked again the battle royale

Twitch icon Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek was shocked after logging into his childhood RuneScape account and finding out that the game was not at all as he remembered it

The former CSGO pro was taken over after finding a way to log into his account he created when he was 9 or 10, and how little he accomplished in the game

After the Canadian took stock of the old count, his eyes wandered side to side and up and down before letting out a disgusted moan

« Is that it ?! » he cried, clearly unhappy with his young self, « Is that all I’m worth? » Is that all I managed to achieve when I was 10? «

Looking at the Shroud inventory, there is nothing remarkable that stands out, most of the available slots are not even occupied by items

Soon after, Shroud wondered why he had so little of it in his inventory. « I don’t think that’s all I have, » he continued. « It’s impossible that this is all. what I managed to accumulate when I played so long ago «

Eventually the stunned Grzesiek finished his quests to see if he had completed anything cool and much to his regret he didn’t even complete Monkey Madness

All that being said, it turns out that shroud hasn’t really played much on the account, only having 42 days listed in their profile information

« I was literally 10 years old! » he cried after his viewers called him « laid back » Over 16 years ago this thing was made!  » he added, noting that the account was older than some of his fans

With all its disappointment, it just goes to show that sometimes we remember games, such as RuneScape, more fondly than they actually deserve or that we think we accomplished a lot more than we did.

Either way, Shroud still has plenty more games to play as his pursuit of casual content continues
