World News – GB – Crawford Blasts Brook: Haney, Prograis, Shields, Conlan React

MGM Grand Conference Center, Las Vegas – WBO welterweight champion Terence Crawford (37-0, 28 KOs) made a statement when he beat a slow start and then eliminated former FIFA reigning FIFA champion Kill Brook (39 -3, 27 KO) in the fourth round.

A very slow start for both boxers in the first round. The two eventually started throwing some punches. The fight continued at a very measured pace in the second round. Both fighters were punching in a chess match, bringing the fight close.

Crawford did better in third place at South Bowl. On the fourth, his right hand dropped Brock as he stumbled backward with ropes holding him up. Once work resumed, Crawford began punching Brooke and the battle was over.
