Corrin shared two images on her Instagram, the second showing her filming alongside actor Josh O’Connor, who will play her on-screen husband Charles, the Prince of Wales
She captioned both images with a teaser for the release date of the new series, saying: « Tick tock tick tock 151120 »
Diana’s original dress for her wedding to Charles featured a 25 foot train and around 10,000 pearls
The fourth series of the hit Netflix show takes place in the 1970s as the Queen Olivia Colman and her family find themselves concerned about saving the line of succession by finding a suitable wife for Charles, who is still not married at 30
It also documents the tensions between the monarch and Margaret Thatcher, played by Gillian Anderson, as the Prime Minister leads the country into the Falklands War, generating conflict within the Commonwealth
The fourth series also stars Helena Bonham Carter as Princess Margaret, Tobias Menzies as Duke of Edinburgh, Erin Doherty as Princess Anne and Marion Bailey as Queen Mother
It has already been announced that Imelda Staunton will replace Colman as Queen for the final two rounds of the series, while Jonathan Pryce will play Philip, Elizabeth Debicki will play Diana and Lesley Manville will play Margaret
