Dynasty star Elizabeth Gillies has married composer Michael Corcoran after they were previously forced to push back their wedding due to the pandemic.
The couple were originally set to tie the knot at the St. Regis Atlanta in April but postponed the nuptials due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
However, they finally wed on August 8 at Inn at Fernbrook Farms in New Jersey with 10 guests in attendance.
Speaking about the big day to Vogue, Liz explained: ‘Once we saw how dire the situation was, we knew we had to postpone.
‘It was a no-brainer for us. Aside from the obvious travel and crowd restrictions, it didn’t feel right to be celebrating in such a big way when there was so much going on in the world.’
The couple – who began dating in 2014 – turned the wedding into a road trip, driving up from their home in Atlanta in Class A RV to avoid flying during the pandemic.
They got tested for the coronavirus before they left home and then quarantined in her childhood home with her family before the wedding.
Her father Dave Gillies even became ordained so he could marry Liz and Michael in the sweet ceremony.
Michael famously composed music for teen shows such as Drake and Josh, iCarly and Victorious – which starred Liz, Victoria Justice and Ariana Grande.
