EastEnders aired heartbreaking scenes on Monday night as fan favorite Kush Kazemi realized the consequences of his continued gambling addiction
For the past few months, the character has played online poker games and put money into an app
It quickly became clear that he found it hard to resist bets and was playing with a lot of money
As he celebrated his victories, he quickly lost everything in recent scenes after being set up by Ruby Allen and Suki Panesar
They used him to get back to the Slaters, the result being that he played away from his home where the family lives
The Slaters got mad at the character for costing them everything, and his girlfriend Kat wanted nothing to do with him
It was his best friend Martin Fowler who urged Kush to accept that he needed help in the last episode of the BBC soap opera
