Emmerdale fans want Cain and Moira to reunite after teaming up to defeat Jamie once and for all in a time hiatus from the scene

Emmerdale fans were elated as Cain and Moira Dingle reunited with a clever plot to take down scheming Jamie Tate

The estranged married couple barged into Jamie’s house in incredibly tense scenes as Jamie unexpectedly arrived home

After retrieving the key to Lydia’s bag, Cain and Moira crept into the kitchen but were forced into hiding when Jamie arrived – Cain behind a door and Moira under the table

Jamie went upstairs, so Cain grabbed his phone and frantically searched his messages for incriminating evidence

He then texted a mysterious contact, arranging a meeting later at the cemetery, as Cain told Moira: « We’re going to nail him »

Moira left as Cain picked up the phone and tampered with it again, but what he did was not revealed to viewers

With Jamie’s horrific behavior having so infuriated fans in recent weeks, they were thrilled to see Cain and Moira team up to defeat him

One tweeted: « This is when Moira & Cain works well, as a team! A meeting that knows! #Emmerdale »

Another added: « It was a lucky escape for Cain and Moira just now. Hope they found some vital evidence to get a head start on Jamie #Emmerdale »

A fourth gushes out: « @ emmerdale # Emmerdale The way Cain looked at Moira back then, they still love each other and the chemistry is still there regardless, put Coira back together »

But others are concerned that things may not be as straightforward as the Dingles hoped, as they desperately try to find evidence to prove Jamie was the driver of the hit and run, and not Belle, after the having framed

One fan remarked, « We’re gonna nail it » Cain can’t believe it’s gonna be that easy, can he? For all him & Moira knows it’s just another Jamie trap « 

Another respondent: « Cain & Moira broke into Home Farm to try & finds evidence against Jamie will help Belle how exactly?

« He could just claim that they planted him after Cain’s commercial threatened him after all? »
