David Walliams wrote his first children’s book in 2008 after signing a deal with HarperCollins and since then has grown into a bestselling author
Since the start of his writing career, the judge Britain’s Got Talent has sold for £ 100million
David, 48, has written 13 children’s story books, 4 short story books and 7 picture books
Additionally, some of her books – Gangsta Granny and Mr Stink – have been turned into films for the BBC

Speaking about his latest novel, The Beast Of Buckingham Palace, which comes out this week, David said he doesn’t just read his own books to his six-year-old son.
David, who shares his son Alfred with his ex-wife Lara Stone, told The Sun: « I love being a dad It’s the best thing of all and is totally life changing

He said, « I don’t submit my books to him I don’t want him to grow up and feel like » We never read any books other than my father’s « »

Besides his income from books, David made his money through appearances in various TV programs
He rose to fame on the 2009 comedy show Little Britain which he starred alongside Matt Lucas

He also hosted the first week of ITV’s Nightly Show as well as the Royal Variety Performance
