Jim Ross has a great mind for pro wrestling, having been in the business for almost five decades The current AEW commentator has shared his thoughts on pro wrestling on his Grilling Jr podcast and, in a recent episode, spoke of a « philosophy » of professional wrestling with which he disagrees

Jim Ross explained how determined wrestlers, even those in AEW, are to have long matches and go over their allotted time

He said some matches are way too long and wondered if these wrestlers feel that they are not good enough to tell their story in the time allotted to them

Historically, TV matches did not last long as the longer matches were reserved for pay-per-views
