Judy Finnigan and husband Richard Madeley made an epic return to This Morning on Thursday as they celebrated their book club’s 10th anniversary

The married presenters, aged 72 and 64, were the original hosts of the hit ITV show from 1988 until their resignation in 2001

Still, while viewers were delighted with their brief return to This Morning, where they appeared via video from their north London home, Judy left some fans very distracted as they claimed she had news. «  different voice  »

Speaking to Twitter, watchers of the show pointed out that the star looked ‘very chic’ compared to her original accent on the ITV chathow

One person said, « What’s up with Judy’s accent / voice? » She looks like she’s gotten very chic [thinking of an emoji] #ThisMorning ‘

Although other watchers on the show were quick to point out that Judy appeared to have had new teeth fitted and the dental treatment could cause her voice to be different

Yet despite some fans’ distraction with his new ‘different voice’, others were delighted with the duo’s brief comeback

Viewers: Taking to Twitter, watchers of the show pointed out that the star looked « extra chic » compared to her original accent on the ITV chathow

The interview comes after Richard revealed that the reading is what kept him and his wife Judy from getting ‘eye-catching’ during the coronavirus lockdown

The couple recently made a surprise return to TV screens to host their new book show, Keep Reading and Carry on

Delighted! Yet despite some fans’ distraction with his new ‘different voice’, others were thrilled with the duo’s brief comeback

TV legends! Richard and Judy were interviewed by fellow married TV presenters Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes

The couple have established themselves as credible critics with book fans thanks to their longtime book club

Asked by the Mirror about why reading plays such an important role in marriage, Richard said the time limit keeps them from getting ‘eye-catching’

He shared: ‘In all marriages things can get tense sometimes and you can be a little nervous with each other, especially if you are together 24/7.’

However, the broadcaster said they worked so well together because they were so comfortable with each other

The husband and wife duo headed This Morning between 1988 and 2001 and returned to ITV’s breakfast earlier this year to replace Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford

Their return was greeted by viewers who clearly saw how well they looked together

Describing his wife Richard said: ‘For my money Judy is still the best female presenter in the UK, she is so capable and versatile But of all the presenters I know she has always been the most reluctant, she didn’t like fame at all ‘
