The first night of the WWE Draft will take place tonight (Oct 9) Episode of SmackDown For some reason, WWE booked a seemingly out of nowhere tag team match on the map pitting Matt Riddle & Jeff Hardy vs The Miz & John Morrison

The match didn’t last long before the babyfaces ended But then it became clear why this match was booked – so that Lars Sullivan could return to WWE and physically dominate the four men:

Subsequently, Stephanie McMahon announced that Sullivan will be added to the draft pool for the second night of the draft, which takes place next week (Oct 12) Raw

Sullivan has been out of WWE for over a year with a knee injury, but now he’s back, and Vince McMahon is likely going to give him the typical monster heel push
