World news – GB – Live Hull FC v Wigan Warriors – build-up, match updates and reaction

All the action from the AJ Bell Stadium

Hello and welcome along to today’s live coverage of Hull FC’s Challenge Cup quarter-final clash against Wigan Warriors at the AJ Bell Stadium.

Leeds Rhinos and Salford Red Devils have already sealed their places in the last four of the competition and Hull will be hoping to join them with a win over Adrian Lam’s Warriors.

The Black and Whites have a strong recent record against Wigan in the Cup, beating them on their way to lifting the trophy in both 2016 and 2017 and Andy Last will be eyeing a similar result this time around as they go all out for the Cup.

We’ll be reporting live from the AJ Bell Stadium all afternoon to bring  you all the build-up, updates and match action.

Tuimavave can’t collect a pass on the hooter, Burgess picks it up and sprints 80 metres to touch down. It’s a long way back for FC from here

Wigan running away with this one before the break. FC were disjointed after a head injury to Connor Wynne forced a reshuffle. Hardaker broke away down the line and delivered a deft grubber infield for French to finish. Hardaker converts

Wynne opens Wigan up and finds a gap. It comes to Connor who forces the GLDO.

Wigan take full advantage of Wynne’s error and go over through Bevan French. He shakes off the challenge of Sneyd and goes over

The young full-back is beginning to lose his head. That’s two kicks he’s spilled now.

Liam Farrell touched the ball down. It was a bouncing ball in the in-goal area which Tuimavave and Fonua failed to deal with. Farrell got down and grounded the ball. Awful start from Hull. Hardaker converts.

His grubber is forced out of play by Faraimo meaning Wigan will have another set in Hull’s half from the GLDO

It’s given. Powell capitalises on a Sean O’Loughlin offload to sneak over the line from short range to give Wigan the lead. Hardaker converts.

That one looked a little easy for Wigan. Sam Powell looks to have gone over here.

Johnstone attempts to scoot from dummy half but drops it and gifts Wigan the ball in a dangerous area of the field.

Wigan are in brought yellow. Hull FC are wearing their Challenge Cup shirt once more to raise money for Rob Burrow.

The sun’s behind the main stand at the AJ Bell and it’s getting quite chilly inside the ground.
