Liverpool fans paid tribute to legendary supporter who has been described as « » an old school icon «
Lenny Woods passed away recently and his passing has seen hundreds of Reds take to social media to pay their respects
Many who have known Lenny to go to the game or follow the club over the years have said how happy they are to have known him
LFC fan group Spirit of Shankly tweeted about Lenny on Monday morning, prompting a flood of responses and messages of condolence to his family
They said: « RIP Lenny Woods, a true #LFC legend – sincere sympathy to his family & friends of the & committee members of Spirit of Shankly
« He was a regular at our coaches outside, entertaining everyone with his songs & tales of jesteryear – an old school icon – he will be sorely missed »
