UK Transport Police witnessed the incident at Harrow-on-the-Hill tube station just before 11 a.m. The girl was taken to hospital with what is believed to be a stab wound

A spokesperson for the BTP said: ‘Officers were called to Harrow-on-the-Hill tube station at 10 a.m.56h in the morning following reports of a serious assault

« Paramedics were also present and a 16-year-old girl was taken to hospital with a stabbing wound

« The station is closed and cords are currently in place at the scene as investigations continue

« Anyone who has witnessed what happened can contact BTP by sending an SMS to 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 170 from 10/20/20 »

A spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service said: « We were called at 10.52am today to reports of a stabbing as the station approached, Harrow

Due to an ongoing investigation, Harrow On The Hill tube station is currently closed and the metro line is disruptedWe will keep you posted

« One person was treated at the scene for a leg injury and taken as a priority to a large trauma center »
