M-Sport today (November 13th) dumped the world’s first Rally3 car when it revealed full details of the latest Fiesta.
The Rally3 is in the middle of the FIA Rally Pyramid. Celebrations driven by Esapekka Lappi, Teemu Suninen and Gus Greensmith fall into the category of WRC headlines, the Rally2 car staged in WRC 2 and WRC 3 by drivers such as Adrien Fourmaux.
And it’s positioned over the Rally4 Fiesta, which the Junior WRC is about, and the popular Rally5 car.
The launch of the all-wheel drive machine, which is expected to be certified for competition on March 1 next year, means that M-Sport is currently the only manufacturer to offer a car on every hierarchy level.
The Fiesta Rally3, aimed at competitors looking to cut their teeth in four-wheel drive machines, was designed and developed by M-Sport Poland, the arm of the Krakow-based British company Malcolm Wilson.
Former former World Rally Championship champion, and first-person in WRC 3, Kagitan Kagitanovi, was among those at the wheel of development tests in Poland and Sardinia.
Fiesta is powered by 1. 5-liter EcoBoost engine, 215 HP and 400 Nm of torque via 5-speed sequential gearbox. It has a top speed of 185 kilometers per hour and reaches 100 kilometers per hour in five seconds. The hood and spoiler vents ensure a bold look in addition to performing key functions.
The car comes in under six numbers at a price of 9,999 euros and is already being produced in Krakow. Deposits will be accepted for applications starting Monday (November 16) and more information can be obtained from Rally3CarSales@m-sport. Participate. United kingdom.
“The Fiesta Rally3 will in no way be a substitute for any vehicle that currently exists. It would be a new concept serving what used to be a largely underserved pool area ».
“It would be an ideal starting point for those graduating from two-wheel drive to four-wheel drive, allowing drivers to learn and hone the skills needed to handle four-wheel drive machines, a big step for any driver.
“In what has been a very difficult year for everyone, the Krakow team excels at the Fiesta Rally3, leaving nothing to hinder design and development,” he added.. .
“I would like to extend my sincere congratulations and thank everyone who has contributed to this project so far. The Fiesta Rally3 and the collective effort put into creating it embody everything M-Sport has to offer: Providing every opportunity for the next generation of drivers..
