World News – GB – Queens Park Rangers vs Preston North End Live Match & score updates

PNE faces Queens Park Rangers in championship as Alex Neil’s side look to return to victory | QPR is undefeated, but also winless in its last three league games

Preston North End is back in the capital as they take on the Queens Park Rangers at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium

Lilywhites return to Championship to rebound from Sunday’s home loss to Cardiff City

Alex Neil’s side suffered their third straight 0-1 loss to Deepdale in the league, but will still travel to London with confidence given their away performances so far

PNE came from behind to beat Brentford on their previous road outing and put on an impressive display at Norwich to earn a point before that

Mark Warburton aims to turn draws into wins – QPR have drawn in their last three league games

Both sides are sweating because of the fitness of the key men, with the availability of North End’s Ben Pearson and ‘Lyndon Dykes’ hosts unconfirmed

We’ll bring you all roster, squad news, live match updates and match reaction here

Nice heist game from Riis that is played on the left and the break seems to be on, but to QPR’s credit they defend him pretty well and force him to wait for the others to arrive

It’s played to Ledson who slips him into Potts – he turns around and shoots wide from the left of the box but the flag is on the opposite side

Brad Potts started this game badly, but he grew as he went along and he has more influence

This time he picks up the ball from 25 yards and decides to aim – he’s hit well but the QPR keeper goes down and keeps him clear

Kevin Friend says no but Emil Riis has a good cry for another penalty at North End

After arriving at the signing and removing the ball, which was erased, he was back in action seconds later Rafferty snagged one at the back post as Potts nodded across the goal, and Riis will stretch to send him back to Johnson

In doing so, Dickie stretches and puts his hand on Riis’ shoulder and he goes around Nothing Given

He had been a bit quiet but Sinclair picked up the ball and decided to just get into the box despite there being three or four QPR players on his way

He just couldn’t be stopped, his glistening toes and quick feet dragging him all the way around the box and forcing Wallace to drop him

From the goal North End looks a lot more confident and plays with a lot more confidence

Lee Wallace was the man penalized for the foul and when Johnson gets his hands on that ball you just have no doubts

He crouches, looks at Dieng, then gets up and kicks the ball home, sending the keeper the wrong way

After the visitors’ brilliant first five minutes, it’s the hosts who have probably just turned things around since

North End was a bit sloppy in part of their possession and QPR starts to pose a threat in the final third, with Chair and Osayi-Samuel looking dangerous

As I type this, Macauley Bonne has his hands on his head as he guides a header off the mark – it was great luck but luckily for him the flag was raised

A complacent first pass sees Chair intercepting the ball and crossing the center line – Ledson spots the danger and takes one for the team as he lowers the midfield

Another danger for PNE because Ilias Chair finds a pocket of space in the middle of the field and is doing well

He works his way around some North End bodies and makes a division pass to Bonne who has drifted to the left The QPR forward plays him through the goal but is slightly ahead of Osayi-Samuel and Rudd finally manages to clear

Slight sway at the back of North End as a long ball overhead catches them and Osayi-Samuel appears to be on goal

There is good recovery from PNE’s center-backs, forcing the winger to stall and allowing Rudd to come out and force him to move away Ultimately, North End survives

It’s Brad Potts on the left and Scott Sinclair on the right, which is the opposite of Sunday and Brentford too

Rudd hits it long for Potts on the left and he wins his flick-on nicely – Riis locks on it and slides it into the empty space in the lower left

Dickie doesn’t catch it like the no19 rips on goal, but his finishing touch gets him out of the game as he looked to get the ball out

Very positive play from the North End center forward and a superb explosion of space

Ledson wraps up another cross from the left heading towards Riis Jakobsen and Dickie has to pinch him and take the lead

He puts it behind for a corner and it’s played quickly to Browne on the edge of the box, who stabs him towards the goal and Hughes then flashes his volley wide on the turn

Daniel Johnson gets us going and PNE instantly wins a free kick to the left after an Andrew Hughes foul

Both teams returned to the locker room after completing their pre-match preparations and we are all ready here for kick-off in 15 minutes

Last season he refereed twice PNE – the 1-1 home game with Leeds and the away loss to West Brom

This will be his 15th game refereeing North End in his 18th season on the pro rosters, his first being in April 2006; a 2-0 home win over Wolves

This season he has officiated three games so far, issuing 11 cautions and a red card

He will be assisted by Simon Beck and Edward Smart, while experienced official Craig Hicks will be the fourth official

« It’s another tough game, there have been changes in the club and the players are obviously gone, but for us you have to go and win

« Our away form has been decent so hopefully we will continue and continue to get three points

« We’re a little disappointed with Sunday, but watch there’s another game and hopefully we can bounce back now and turn a negative into a positive »

In the 2018/19 season, North End came here and won 4-1 – a brilliant away performance

Jayden Stockley scored his first goal for the club to open the scoring, and Jordan Storey then scored his first goal in the second half to double the lead

Alan Browne got in on the act and Brad Potts sealed the deal with a late half volley in front of the outside side

Ben Davies and Ben Pearson are both out due to injury, so Jordan Storey and Daniel Johnson arrive

At the top, Emil Riis Jakobsen replaces Sean Maguire at the top while Brad Potts and Scott Sinclair keep their places

Josh Harrop returns to the bench and Paul Huntington is also in the Matchday Squad tonight

It’ll be Ledson as a defensive midfielder, but you can expect one of Johnson and Browne – if not both – to come back and help out there too

We finally sat inside the Kiyan Prince Foundation stadium Let’s just say there are some pretty strict entry procedures

Anyway, the pitch looks impeccable and we will have the team’s news very soon

QPR vs North End Last away game in the capital was crazy Luck for PNE to get back on track tonight Mat-like location #pnefc https: // tco / mwCKkvKCnm picTwittercom / d7bnvtdmhZ

He has appeared on the bench twice, with many supporters calling for Riis Jakobsen to nod his head tonight

On the Dane, Neil said after Cardiff: «  » I think especially when you’ve only made one signing everyone turns their attention to him

« What we have to remember is that the child is still at the hotel and is only 22 years old

« Really, last year was his first real season playing regularly and he’s stepping into a different culture

« We only had him for one training session and the other two days were the Friday before a game, and that’s all he did, so it’s tough for him
