One individual who continued to fire on all cylinders, at least in September, was Sadio Mane
Senegalese broad Mane has scored 3 goals in his first 3 Premier League appearances in 2020/21, including a winning double against Chelsea
He was also not part of the group that had been torn apart by Aston Villa, having missed due to Covid-19
And, as noted above, Mane’s continued excellence has not gone unnoticed by the Reds loyalists at all
In a post on the club’s social media platforms this afternoon, Liverpool confirmed their attacking star won the Player of the Month award for September
Mane beat the competition of his compatriot Mohamed Salah, who finished 2nd in the votes, to win his last prize:
