The new Jollibee restaurant in Leicester has proved very popular so far on its first day.
The new branch, at Humberstone Gate, opened at 10 a.m. this morning, and there were people lining up from 7 a.m. – excited to be among the first people in town to try the popular Jollibee chicken brand.
A socially distanced queue descended down Humberston Gate, just down Charles Street to the Lower Free Lane, with approximately 120 people waiting for the doors to open.
Adam Parkinson, President of Jollibee Europe, officially cut the tape at the Opening Ceremony along with Team Leicester and the famous Jollibee mascot.
