With the possibility of a second lockdown looming, and parts of the UK already under Level 3 restrictions, we’re once again confined to having fun at home
While for adults that might mean a glass of rouge and a Netflix box set, or maybe the treat of a Deliveroo evening meal and a game of cards, kids can be a lot harder to find. entertain
Fortunately, Stacey Solomon, Loose Women panelist, is available on her Instagram page with creative tips and tricks.

While admittedly these are just as fun for adults to undertake, they could also be a great bonding exercise between you and your child.
After all, it’s like doing a puzzle, but in the end, you’ve made something that looks great and can be displayed or used around the home Here are some of Stacey’s best ideas, which are suitable in the fall season
The 31-year-old recently took to Instagram to show off how to make Frankenstein Marshmallow Heads, which are the perfect snacks on October 31
She first melted melted candy, called Disco Melts, which cost £ 3.50 from Hobbycraft, then add marshmallow cocktail sticks
Then she dipped the marshmallows in the bottom and let them dry for 30 minutes, after which she glued the icy eyes
Then the former X Factor competitor added some purple glitter for the ears, black frosting for the hair and purple frosting for the mouth… and the end result is amazing
Captioning the picture of four of her creations standing on a platter, she wrote: « Marshmallow Frank’s I love them even though Zach says they look like spongebob’s lucky plankton… 4 for tonight 4 for tomorrow’s lunches «
It was a hack that actually pulled Stacey’s eldest son, 12-year-old Zachary, away from his games console
Stacey shared this on Instagram, writing, “So Zachy very rarely wants to make with me thanks to the PlayStation… so when he asked if we could make our own snow globes, I bought the ingredients right before that. he doesn’t change his mind… and that’s what we did while Rex was napping ”
Next, she showed pictures of Zach pouring golden glitter and metallic fall leaves into a glass jar containing a small pumpkin pattern.
Then they poured 3/4 water and 1/4 glycerin, then added the lid to the jar after coating the inside of it in super glue to seal it
They then wrapped the lid in a string and added a wooden name tag to the bottom of the jar with the words « Zachary »
You can do this with any type of glitter or glitter, but if they are heavier, be sure to add more glycerin so that they definitely float
Now, because it involves a glue gun and is quite complicated, it is better to do the simple creation yourself, under the guidance of a child
Why this is a great collaborative activity is that you can take your child for a walk and have them select the appropriate leaves and plants for the wreath
Stacey explained that she picked up the crown from Hobby Craft for a really good £ 5 handbag, and is filming herself in white intertwining the orange-hued leaves
Using a glue gun, the Loose Women panelist then added additional pine cones, sunflowers and leaves
And it’s safe to say that the end result was amazing and oh, so Instagrammable, especially after the star added some very appropriate pumpkin lights to light up the crown
