UFC 254 will be one of the biggest MMA events of the year and feature one of the best lightweight fights possible besides defending and reigning champion Khabib Nurmagomedov will look to win an incredible 29th fight in a row for stay undefeated when he takes on perhaps his toughest challenge yet – interim champion Justin Gaethje

Ahead of the fight, Khabib’s team decided to post videos detailing what is happening at their training camp in Dubai ahead of the October 25 fight. Here’s a preview of the first episode, which you can see above

The episode begins with Khabib telling the cameraman that he can never enter his room without knocking first The cameraman says the door was open, but Khabib persists I can’t tell if this is ‘subtle humor or if I’m missing something He explains what will happen in training that day (which includes three sauna trips), then tells the cameraman to get lost

Her room / suite / mansion could be the highlight of this whole video It’s beautiful But right after showing it Khabib YOLO in Russian I guess we have to take the good with the bad

AKA trainer Javier Mendez works out He says he needs to stay in shape to keep up with his guys, then shows his biceps They talk to a few more of his training partners, who are discussing not getting enough sleep or to make a few jokes at everyone’s expense

It actually sounds kinda endearing and funny enough, but they have to pull a page out of the Embedded book and identify everyone who talks I cover this stuff for a living and even I didn’t know who everyone was The fan casual will be baffled Put their names on the screen when they speak, the Khabib team!

They finally resumed Khabib’s training Following a grappling session the cameraman asks Khabib how many times he has tapped on his partner He says the guy is already fighting in Bellator so that wouldn’t be nice to say it Of course the partner says zero and they all laugh as Khabib jumps on him

That’s it for Part 1 The only description of the YouTube video says « Comment below what you want to see in the next videos? » This is what I want to see

Identify everyone talking on the screen More Khabib, Less teammates (although I understand this is a platform to uplift teammates, as I understand it) Indicate the date of the sequence (like the day / hour) But overall a very good start I liked it
