The UFC 255 PPV main card has just received a top flyweight matchup for women between Katlyn Chookagian (2nd place) and Cynthia Calvillo (4th place). This was pretty much the Chookagian show. She had an outstanding performance, commanding the octagon and holding her opponent at the end of her strikes. This was an excellent way to recover after Jessica Andrade stopped with a body just last month. Chookagian holds her place at the top of the £ 125 division and prevents Calvillo from finding a way to a title shot.

Chookagian took the center of the octagon to get things going and Calvillo danced along outside. Chookagian did a solid job throwing her long strikes and keeping Calvillo out. When Calvillo fired in, Chookagian spread properly to keep the fight going. Calvillo landed a couple of jumps in Hook.
Chookagian stayed on course in the second act. She pushed herself back behind her long punches and made sure Calvillo stayed outside. Calvillo seemed to have no answers and was stuck when the outside was taken apart. The third round was similar. Calvillo just had nothing for Chookagian tonight.
