Most Floridians who travel (45%) have already booked vacation trips, and 21% plan to finalize their plans this month

Travelers shouldn’t wait until the last minute to book their vacation, â € “ Jenkins said â ???? The majority of vacation travelers will finalize their plans by the end of October. This means fewer options and possibly higher prices for those looking for a last minute flightâ € ”

But this year, there are other reasons why potential travelers might cancel or delay out-of-town plans.The AAA survey found that 21% of those surveyed had interrupted their travel plans due to elections, citing security concerns (50%), political unrest (28%) and economic impacts (27%) as determining factors

If Floridians decide to travel this year, AAA urges all travelers to follow the safety advice of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and work with a trusted travel advisor, â € “ Jenkins said
