Where’s Jade Thirlwall? And why isn’t she on Little Mix: The Search live?
Little Mix last week: The search had to be called off after a « small number of crew » tested positive for coronavirus
This means that daughters Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jesy Nelson and Perrie Edwards have been forced to quarantine
A statement on Twitter read: « We can confirm that a small number of people on the production Little Mix: The Search have tested positive for the coronavirus and they are now self-isolating following the latest government guidelines
« Due to the format of the show, we have made the decision to postpone Saturday’s program. Strict protocols are in place to handle Covid-19 as the safety of everyone involved in production is paramount »
And now the show has been thrown into chaos once again due to COVID restrictions with Jade forced to stay home during the first live show
But where is Jade and why isn’t she in the studio with the rest of the girls? Here’s what we know…
Jade Thirlwall, 27, appears via video link for Little Mix: The Search’s first live show on Saturday after being forced into self-isolation
The star was scheduled to appear alongside Jesy, 29, Perrie, 27, and Leigh-Anne, 29, but she is not allowed to leave her home
The team confirmed in a statement: “Jade needs to self-isolate this week and will therefore exercise her mentoring role on Little Mix The Search from home. »
« For this Saturday’s show, Jade will participate via a video link, continuing to mentor alongside Jesy, Leigh-Anne and Perrie »
This does not necessarily mean that Jade tested positive for COVID-19 as she could have come into contact with someone who has the virus
While auditions for The Search were filmed earlier this year before the pandemic, live shows will follow strict rules of social distancing and Little Mix, the team and contestants are all tested on a regular basis. p>
Host Chris Ramsey took to Twitter last week to confirm he had also tested negative for COVID-19
Before adding: « Let’s be honest, I think if it was me they would just find another host and put on the show anyway See you all next week Fingers crossed »
