England is now under a month-long lockdown that runs from November 5 to December 2 – but will any of our favorite food chains be open?

In the wake of the lockdown, non-essential businesses have had to close – like beauty salons, pubs, restaurants and hairdressers

However, some have been allowed to remain open provided they offer take-out, delivery or click and collect services.

In an email to Chicken Fans, Nando said: “The good news is this is not our first rodeo and while the weather might be a little less good, it just means more weather for them. TV shows and snacks on the couch If it’s not a win, what is it?

There is good news for McDonald’s fans – as the fast food chain will keep its drive-thru branches open during the lockdown

Paul Pomroy, Managing Director of McDonald’s UK, said: « On Thursday 5th November at 12:01 am we will be closing our dining rooms across England but as per government guidelines we will remain open for take out, drive thru and delivery by McDelivery via Uber just eat and eat

« We remain committed to ensuring that our employees can come to work safely, while continuing to serve the communities in which we operate. In some restaurants, our hours of operation and services may vary »

Those looking to get their festive baking solution will be happy to know that the bakery chain will remain open for takeout and delivery orders through JustEat, the Greggs website or the Greggs Rewards app.

While branches will remain open for customers to come in and purchase food and drink, rest areas will be closed

KFC has confirmed they will remain open for takeout and delivery throughout the month-long lockdown

Orders can be placed through the KFC app, or through UberEats, JustEat and on Deliveroo

In an update to customers on their Facebook page, Subway said: “The majority of our stores are still open for take-out and delivery, but we know some people will need a pick-me-up more than a pick-me-up. others, so for the next four weeks we will look for the midday SOS messages  »

Subway added that they will give ‘a little gift to the lucky few’ for those who tweet #SendOutSubs with the username of someone who deserves one of their sandwiches.
