And Sasha Banks, whose exploits in the first Hell in a Cell women’s match will go down in history, attempts to defeat her former friend Bayley to become the SmackDown Women’s Champion

It’s time for Otis (joined by Tucker) against The Miz, who is accompanied by John Morrison
Otis is putting his MITB contract on the line, which of course allows his holder to win the world title anywhere, anytime

Jeff nails a Whisper in the Wind, then moments later he drops Elias with Twist of Fate
He rides for a Senton bomb, Elias rolls on the apron, Jeff climbs into the ring looking for a giant dive, but Elias goes looking for his guitar
Jeff grabs the guitar and smashes it on Elias’ back, which means he wins by DQ
Hardy is furious and bangs the guitar, but the result is in the record books
Elias is next with his guitar and says that four months ago Jeff Hardy tried to end his career by hitting him with a car He says he’s okay with that because that inspired his new album – tomorrow – called Universal Truth He sings a boring song in reference to Jeff’s problems with the law
Had no idea this was the very first time that a clash The two men get stuck, then Jeff takes control with an atomic drop and gets a two count with a basement kick
Elias throws Jeff outside, but Hardy doesn’t mind and is happy to have a fight there, until he jumps down the stairs and almost gets blown off when Elias uses his own momentum to get there. ‘send crashing into the barricade
Jeff just dodges a count and now Elias is trampling him everywhere But it won’t be long before Hardy takes control and stops a classic leg
So cool to see Afa and Sika of The Wild Samoans celebrating with Reigns after the match Anoint Him as the Chef of the Table
I don’t know how you got over that, it screamed at me « main event » We’ve been waiting a long time to see drama of this quality in WWE
Reigns is crying This is a really awesome acting from Roman I didn’t know he had this in his locker He says: « I don’t even know who I am anymore I’m sorry »
He shakes hands with Jimmy and they go to kiss, but instead Reigns puts him in a guillotine! And that’s what finally made Jey quit, to save his brother!
Woah Reigns sets up the steel steps near Jey’s head, which is sandwiched between the steps and the ring post, apparently for another Drive By
Reigns looks like he has two minds, but then he says hell and delivers a wild Drive By It was a cool visual
The referee wants to stop the match and Reigns pulls him by the neck and drops him « No one is stopping the match »
He raises his hands as if to leave, then closes the cell door and goes up the steps He tries to throw them into the ring but they bounce off the ropes Second attempt, he succeeded
Roman ignores requests from referees and backstage employees as he puts the steps on Jey’s head
He said all Jey had to do was admit him and now he made him do this
Just before going down the stairs on his head, Jimmy Uso goes down the ramp, slips into the ring and covers his body
He asks Reigns what’s wrong with him He says they can fix this and he doesn’t have to
Reigns manages to break free and connects with a Superman punch, then seeks victory with a guillotine submission, which Corey Graves reminds us that he has already used successfully against Braun Strowman
It wasn’t enough for Jey to quit, no matter how many times the referee asked him to
Roman demands that he recognize him and say the words He says he will not be held responsible if he does not
Heyman has his head in his hands Reigns mumbles something about « if my family doesn’t respect me »
They trade punches with the strap, Roman attempts a punch from Superman, but Jey dodges him and ties him up with the strap, suffocating him with it, as Reigns screams in pain How come wasn’t it good for Daniel Bryan with that tie all those years ago?
Now Uso whips Reigns with a belt / strap of some sort, despite Paul Heyman’s concern for his man But Roman bounces off the ropes and hits another spear!
This is the third pitch of the match – now Jey is the man on the mat, moaning that he can’t breathe but refusing to stop Roman brutalizes him with the belt Owww That looks rough
Uso recovers and sends Roman out with a dropkick, but when he attempts another kick or dives into the ropes, he eats Roman’s right hand Then seconds later another throws!
Reigns talks trashy Jey as he languishes in pain on the mat and warns, « I’ll finish you off »
Jey catches it with a kick to prevent a third spear, then a super punch to the jaw, followed by a trademark frog splash
Reigns looks lean and mean He’s in excellent shape The contemptuous look on the champion’s face is there for everyone to see as he watches Jey Uso
The cell door is locked and the first I Quit Game in five years in WWE is about to start Michael Cole and Corey Graves are on comment
Uso says Reigns has changed, Roman says he changed because he had to Both men crash and Reigns takes down his opponent with a shoulder tackle and goes on with a right hand
This is of course not Jey’s first time at HIAC – he took part in this big, innovative tag match with his brother Jimmy against The New Day, which they won to become the SmackDown Champions for the third time
Roman takes too long to keep up with his attacks and takes a kick in the gut and the head, then when he recovers at ringside, Jey flies off and sends him into the cell wall – a feat he repeated moments later Now he sends it headfirst into steel Then the elbow pad comes off It’s an aggressive Jey Uso, fighting for a title and his family
Jey Uso is the first to look determined (and fresh) to say the least Jey has no experience with HIAC, but his cousin Reigns has been there four times and has never lost
Roman Reigns vs. Jey Uso will cast Hell in a Cell! The universal title is up for grabs in the opening fight!

At SummerSlam, Drew McIntyre beat Randy Orton to retain the WWE Championship Orton earned a rematch at Clash of Champions, where McIntyre again held up, this time in an ambulance match during the fight, several legends that Orton attacked returned for revenge, including Big Show, Christian, Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair, who drove the ambulance The next night on Raw, McIntyre celebrated with the Legends, but before the show was over Randy attacked all the greats behind the scenes He now challenged Drew to a Hell in a Cell, which the great Scotsman has accepted
Booker T says Orton has the experience, as does Double J when he beat him for a WCW world title. He backs McIntyre

The first match the panel breaks down is Sasha Banks challenging Bayley for the SmackDown Women’s Championship
At Payback, the duo lost the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles to Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler When they failed to retrieve the belts on the next SmackDown, Bayley turned Sasha over and gave her a beating Banks has since beaten Bayley with a steel chair, a favor that Bayley returned in a successful defense of his title, when Sasha won by disqualification, meaning the belt did not change hands Now at Hell in a Cell there will be no DQ, so who will come out on top?
Rosenberg points out that Banks is 0-2 in HIAC games – can she change that tonight? I think there’s a good chance she’ll do it
Charly Caruso anime, accompanied by three legends – Booker T, Jerry the King Lawler and (for the first time in a launch show) Jeff Jarrett Oh and Pete Rosenberg is there too
Booker says Hell in a Cell matches can take years of your life.There is obviously a lot of hyperbole and exaggeration in the wrestling world, but it’s actually true in some cases – there just ask Mick Foley, aka Mankind, who still pays the dental fees today!
